Management changes at Orange UK

Networks & Network Services
Orange has announced two new appointments to its UK board. The moves follow the launch of the company’s new Agenda in June, which laid out plans to improve, grow and evolve the company.

Jackie O’Leary, currently director of customer service at The Carphone Warehouse, will join Orange next month as vice president of service. She will now be in charge of Orange mobile and broadband customer service strategy and teams, ensuring that the company delivers the best possible experience to its customers.

Tom Alexander, CEO at Orange UK, said: “With over 20 years of experience in the mobile, broadband and other industries, Jackie is key to us hitting our ambition of becoming the UK’s best loved communications brand. She is a massive asset to the team.”

O’Leary’s appointment follows the news that outgoing vice president of service, Mike Hughes, has taken up a new role as vice president of transformation. The role will ensure that, having reorganised the business, Orange can deliver quickly and efficiently on the potential of the new organisation.
