Martin Dawes Systems Wins Aircell’s Airborne Broadband Billing Deal

Martin Dawes Systems, an international provider of billing, customer care and revenue assurance solutions, today announced it has been chosen by Aircell, the leading provider of airborne communications technology, to provide customer care systems for the company.

Aircell, which will launch its affordable airborne broadband solution in North America this year, has selected Martin Dawes Systems’ award-winning dise3G service for its end-to-end billing and customer care process.

Aircell will spearhead a broadband revolution that will change the airline and business aircraft passenger experience, and chose Martin Dawes Systems following a rigorous search.

Through Martin Dawes Systems’ data centre in Boston, Massachusetts, and a dedicated team in Itasca, Illinois, the company will support Aircell’s innovative service, including inflight broadband access on US flights, coast-to-coast and border-to-border with commercial airline partners.

Aircell’s service will allow business and leisure passengers to check email, surf the Web, tap into an office network and stay current on the latest news, using their own Wi-Fi enabled devices, such as laptops, PDAs, iPhones, BlackBerrys, while in flight.
