Maxxis, a global tyre manufacturer, is launching its first community app with Propeller Mobile this month.
Developed for Apple’s iPhone and iPad, the Maxxis app combines product and event information with customer engagement. In addition to featuring pictures and blogs of Maxxis’ pin-up Babes, it allows users to form a fan community by creating their own profiles, linking with social media and provides information about Maxxis tyre range and Maxxis sponsored teams and drivers.
The app was designed and developed for Maxxis by Propeller Mobile, the mobile unit of London-based communications company Propeller Group.

Propeller Group CEO, Martin Loat said, “When developing the app, Propeller Mobile wanted to enable Maxxis’ customers to have everything they want integrated in one app. It combines entertaining features, such as keeping up to date with the Babes’ blogs and watching their video diaries with information on Maxxis’ tyre range and retailers in the area.”
