Konftel has reported a record-breaking 25% rise in annual UK audio conferencing sales – and has more innovative solutions in the pipeline for this year.
UK Sales Director, Jeff May, says this year will be even bigger and better thanks to new software innovations as well as ground-breaking hardware, based on ‘world leading technology’.
“Whilst 2017 was a year to remember 2018 will be even bigger and better, building on our ethos to make conferencing as easy and enjoyable as possible,” he explained.
Demand for devices such as Konftel’s 300Wx, a conference phone that provides freedom without the need for phone jacks and power outlets, were up by a quarter last year. It has been joined by the new ‘hybrid’ 300IPx that mixes IP telephony with USB for collaboration (web client) calls. Whilst the 55Wx Bluetooth unit and stylish Ego portable device also contributed to the major sales boom.
“Konftel is helping inspire increasing demand for remote working, team meetings and anytime, anywhere collaboration from high quality flexible conferencing. The retail, manufacturing and finance sectors are particularly strong.”
Jeff added: “Last year also saw us develop the next step in convenient audio conferencing with a free mobile-based app for one touch conference calls. Konftel Unite enables users to join conference calls and online meetings quickly and hassle free.
“Users simply dial into conference calls with just one click, join sessions in WebEx, Hangout, Scopia and other web meeting applications and also gain a complete overview of their day’s events and meetings from multiple calendars simultaneously. The app’s appeal has been further enhanced by the recent launch of a special adapter for the 300Mx and 300Wx models, in addition to the 300IPx that already has this impressive feature.”
In addition Konftel’s first-ever portable collaboration device, the Ego is also proving a popular choice for resellers. It’s been designed to enhance today’s ‘on-the- go’ lifestyle and communication trends such as Skype for Business and other popular Collaboration platforms.
“Overall the Konftel revolution continues,” said Jeff. “Our wireless technology in particular has really propelled forward as it delivers convenience and high OmniSound audio performance for conferencing anywhere. But we’re not resting on our laurels and have a series of exciting product innovations in the pipeline, utilising world leading technology that will help resellers unlock even greater sales success over the coming months and beyond.”
