Mayflex Expands its Networking Team

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and security solutions distributor, has made a number of significant changes to enhance and develop its existing networking sales team. These new changes have come into place so that the team can offer greater support to their customers and provide much more focussed product information.

As part of these changes, Anita Mistry has been appointed as Director of Sales – Networking, after formerly holding the position of Aruba Vendor Manager within Mayflex for the last three years. Mistry will be responsible for the entire networking sales team, introducing new initiatives and driving forward sales.

Kelly Scott has been appointed as Extreme Vendor Manager, bringing with him a high level of technical knowledge and experience to the business. Having previously worked for Extreme Networks Scott is well placed to work with Mayflex’s partners in specifying and winning Extreme business opportunities. These attributes will not only be of significance in his role of Vendor Manager, but will also assist the company with the development and expansion if its existing networking product set throughout 2011.

The networking team has been enhanced further by the introduction of Lisa Cowley who is responsible for providing sales and project support as well as liaising with suppliers to improve lead times and stock availability. The Aruba product team has also been strengthened by Barindar Parmar moving to an external proactive role offering support to all Aruba gold and Silver partners.

Andrew Percival, Managing Director at Mayflex, comments, “The promotion of Anita from Vendor Manager to Director of Sales - Networking was an obvious progression. Over the last 3 years Anita has developed and consistently exceeded our expectations where our Aruba product sales are concerned. Her drive and dedication can now be deployed across the rest of the team, and I am confident we will begin to see positive results in a short amount of time.”

Percival continues, “With the introduction of Kelly Scott to the team, our focus on Extreme products can significantly improve. I am confident that we can continue to increase our market share with the product expertise and experience he has acquired within the industry.”
