Messier-Bugatti-Dowty improves customer service with Orange smartnumbers

Orange smartnumbers for business, the solution that improves internal efficiency by reducing the time it takes to contact on-call professionals, has been rolled out by Messier-Bugatti-Dowty in order to provide an enhanced experience in its delivery of 24 hour support to customers.

Jane Gee, Customer Support Manager, Messier-Bugatti-Dowty MRO, said “Our previous method of providing on-call assistance was inefficient and did not provide 24x7 support to our customer base. The Messier-Bugatti-Dowty equipment is fitted to more than 22,000 aircrafts making over 35,000 landings every day, and our mission is to be the customer’s first choice maintenance solutions provider. Orange smartnumbers allows us to provide an improved level of service to our customers, enabling them to reach help as quickly and efficiently as possible.”

Following the success of the product’s launch in the healthcare sector by Orange, the smartnumbers service has now been rolled out to the enterprise in order to allow any business that offers on-call assistance to provide 24/7 access to its most relevant contacts, in and out of working hours, irrespective of their location. If on-call help is needed customers have only one number to dial, which will automatically direct the caller to the most relevant available person. Specialists can be reached quickly and easily, cutting out the time consuming processes of making multiple calls and leaving voice mails.

Powered by Resilient Networks, the service offers a low-cost and easy to implement way for companies to equip their business with reliable on-call services.

Max Taylor, Business Director at Everything Everywhere, the company that runs Orange UK, said: “We are extremely proud to be rolling out this service to customers like Messier-Bugatti-Dowty with our partners at Resilient Networks, after the success of smartnumbers in the healthcare industry. Orange Business is committed to pioneering innovation in the mobile industry, and our continued relationship with Resilient Networks reflects how this service is not only invaluable for the public sector, but has real value for enterprise.”

Andrew Bale, CEO at Resilient Networks, said: “Businesses such as Messier-Bugatti-Dowty extract greater value from their mobiles when smartening up standard services. We’re extremely pleased to continue our work with Orange Business and to roll-out our services to enterprise customers.”
