Metronet Rollout in St. Helens

Following on from the recent rollouts into Chester and Widnes, Metronet (UK) is pleased to announce the launch of another next generation hybrid network in St Helen’s!

St Helen’s is a former industrial hot spot and one of the many hard to reach areas in the UK. In the past St Helen’s has benefitted from several high profile regeneration schemes and has future plans for more. To support this current and future development a faster connectivity infrastructure is needed.

This connectivity rollout means that businesses in the St Helen’s area can now benefit from Metronet (UK)’s trusted service ranging from straightforward leased line services to complex multi-site solutions, cloud based hosted services, voice over IP and secure remote worker access.

Using its unique combination of wired and wireless technology, Metronet (UK) connects customers at speeds of 1Mbps to 10GBps. By using a combination of fibre and high capacity wireless technology, lead times are significantly reduced and businesses that have traditionally struggled with poor copper services such as ADSL, SDSL and EFM or costly leased line installation charged finally have an alternative.

This week we have heard the National Audit offices criticism of the Governments superfast broadband programme, which has been delayed until 2017. In St Helen’s, Metronet (UK) can deliver ultrafast services to businesses now!

Metronet (UK)’s Operations Director, Lee Lawrence said; “Having rolled out into yet another area means that we are another step closer to bringing omnipresent service to the North West. Metronet (UK) is known for our flexibility, great service and value for money and because of this we are over taking the traditional providers to deliver faster connectivity to St Helen’s.”
