Following on from the partnership of Metronet (UK) and DB Systems Ltd, Metronet (UK) has now been given the contract to provide a high capacity fibre connection for Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC).
To cater for the heavy demand for high speed connectivity at events and exhibitions, Metronet (UK) has provided DB and the AECC with a solution that allows them to increase their connection at short notice should the requirement arise.
Jay Goldson, Head of Division at DB Event Networks (a division of DB Systems Ltd) said, “Working with Metronet (UK) is a pleasure and we are grateful that they can provide the AECC with fast and reliable Internet connectivity. Customer service is critical for delivering our service level agreement and we felt Metronet (UK) would be best suited to partner us in this venture at the AECC”
The AECC boasts a facility network and service infrastructure worthy of a 21st Century venue in a 21st Century City and hosts a range of events from business conferences and exhibitions to concerts and live sporting events. It is the second conference centre to whom Metronet (UK) delivers their services to, the first being Manchester Central.
Elliott Mueller, CEO of Metronet (UK) said, “We are very happy to provide DB and the AECC with the ability to connect with their customers in a modern way. After our success with Manchester Central it is fantastic that we can supply yet another conference centre with our fast and reliable service.”
