Metronet (UK) announce new rollout into Widnes!

Metronet (UK) is pleased to announce the launch of yet another next generation hybrid network in Widnes and it’s surrounding areas.

The development of this new point of presence site (POP) will mean the areas of Widnes and the Runcorn & Speke areas of Liverpool can take advantage of the advanced network, offering best of breed, wired and wireless connectivity solutions at competitive rates.

These areas in the past have been known for their poor fibre infrastructure and building on the work of the Widnes Regeneration program, Metronet (UK) has decided to roll out our innovative connectivity that will make a difference to growing local companies. The local business and trade parks now covered are Turnstone Business Park, Widnes Trade Park, Heron Business Park and Moor Lane Business Centre, as well as many surrounding areas.

Using its unique combination of wired and wireless technology, Metronet (UK) connects customers at speeds of 1Mbps to 10GBps. By using a unique combination of fibre and high capacity wireless technology, lead times are significantly reduced and businesses that have traditionally struggled with poor copper services such as ADSL, SDSL and EFM or costly leased line installation charges finally have an alternative.

Lee Lawrence, Metronet (UK)’s Operations Director said, “Having Metronet (UK)’s new POP sites means that local businesses can have high speed connectivity that comes with great service and is cost effective. Traditional providers cannot match the level of service that we provide and in today’s world superfast connectivity is becoming as essential as electricity to businesses. We can now deliver superfast connectivity within 5 working days of order and are looking forward to working in Widnes, Runcorn and Speke.”
