Micro-P has announced their appointment as Nokia’s UK distributor within the consumer and business telecom dealer channel. The UK distributor is incredibly excited at entering into this strategic relationship with Nokia.
“Throughout this review process we have been constantly impressed at Nokia’s ambition and determination to focus on delivering value added solutions to the channel. We have been very excited with Nokia’s product launch program planned. The ecosystem that Nokia’s various platforms offer is very compelling and in our view will be hugely attractive to businesses and consumers alike. More importantly the immediate roadmap is very strong and the new Symbian ‘Belle’ operating system puts Nokia on a par with its peers in the smartphone category and gives consumers excellent choices in the feature phone category.” Said Gerry O’Keeffe, Micro-P’s managing director.
He went on to say: “The Micro-P and Nokia management teams are totally committed to redefining Nokia’s approach and engagement of the channel, a fact exemplified by today’s launch of the Nokia Partner Program. I know the transparency that Micro-P will afford Nokia to get closer to their channel has been one of many factors that influenced Nokia’s decision to partner with Micro-P and is something that will significantly benefit the channel going forward.”
“We encourage all our existing and potential Nokia partners to engage with our sales teams to learn more about the Nokia proposition for Q4, and how Micro-P plan to drive and grow both breadth and depth of opportunity for all partners. The addition of the Nokia brand to Micro P only serves to reinforce our existing partnerships, and ensure we can offer our dealers the strongest mobile proposition in the market. ” Commented John Doughty, Micro-P Mobile’s general manager.
“I want to thank my team for the hard work, enthusiasm and passion that they have displayed in the process to date and to exhort them to redouble this energy to deliver best in class service to the Nokia customer base.” concluded Gerry O’Keeffe, Micro-P’s managing director.
