Micro-P has secured a distribution agreement with major telecoms vendor, NEC. This agreement sees the already established IT and Mobile distributor firmly establish its presence in the communications channel.

The deal will see Micro-P significantly boost their communications offering by distributing NEC’s range of PBX and mobile systems in addition to its already established IT and mobile solutions.

Well known for their service and solutions based approach Micro-P are now clearly positioned to deliver on convergence across voice data and mobile.

“NEC’s range of product forms a key element of our strategy to integrate the communications solutions across voice, data and mobile. We’re delighted to be working with NEC and we’re excited about the potential for both businesses in this rapidly evolving market to drive forward plans for growth and market share across all three product areas,” said Gerry O’Keeffe, managing director, Micro-P.

He added: “We are absolutely focused on developing our communications portfolio and ensuring we offer our resellers the best in leading edge technologies and importantly margin generation, our partnership with NEC is key to us delivering this.”

“With the NEC range of XN120 and SV8100 products and applications such as the MyCalls suite and Unified Communications for Business (UCB) growing in market share, Micro-P is an ideal distribution partner to fulfil customer requirements,” said Andrew Cooper, Sales Director, NEC.

“Micro P is an established distributor with excellent logistics and great expertise in IT and data products. With Micro-P already having NEC data products in their portfolio it made sense for them to expand the range to include telecoms,” he added.
