Microsoft and Griffin Internet host SaaS and MPLS workshop

Microsoft and Griffin Internet are planning a unique channel event to demonstrate how IP meets the demand for current business networking requirements, generates high margin for Resellers and opens the door for additional revenue streams from hosted desktop applications.

On Friday 6th March 2009 Microsoft and Griffin are addressing over 100 key system integrators, data VARs and solutions providers at Microsoft’s head office in Reading to promote the Reseller opportunity for high-value, broadband-based networks.

Microsoft will be talking about the increasing demand for software as a service. Griffin will explain how to make broadband a more robust and feature-rich business product.

Griffin Internet is a Microsoft Gold partner and is working closely with Microsoft to bring white label managed office solutions to the channel. Part of the portfolio of business products is Griffin’s MPLS IPVPN, which enables partners to link up customer sites with a mixture of broadband, private circuits and Ethernet from multiple carriers.

In the future Griffin’s partners will be able to offer business networks and managed applications in partnership with Microsoft.

Andrew Dickinson, Sales and Marketing Director, Griffin Internet commented; "There is a growing demand for multi-site broadband-based networks and Resellers need a differentiated networking product that they can easily white label, without the need for expensive technical resource and infrastructure. By getting the network right one of the last hurdles to companies buying all their desktop applications by the seat and by the month is removed. When the time is right Griffin and Microsoft will be there to supply these services via the channel.”
