Trade-only AV distributor, Midwich is set to partner with the revolutionary Britsih audio brand, Orbitsound. From July 2017, Midwich will be distributing Orbitsound’s product range, accelerating the penetration of simple audio solutions to commercial verticals including corporate, education and hospitality within the UK.
The new distribution deal comes as Orbitsound enters a new phase in its 10-year history with the recent launch of the all-in-one audio solution, ONE P70.
Mark Flesher Consumer AV Business Manager at Midwich commented: “We’re delighted to be adding British audio brand Orbitsound to our line-up. Don’t think feature rich products. Think compact, stylish and extremely powerful sound bars that deliver excellent sound. The patented technology from Orbitsound, the look and feel of the products and the competitive price points helps to fill an important gap in the market. The partnership was an obvious choice for us and our customer base and I’m excited to see the products take-off.”
Midwich will be responsible for the distribution of the Bar A70 and ONE P70 models with scope to take on any new relevant products. Mark added: “With the opening of Orbitsound’s new experience centre at the heart of Shoreditch, London, we are looking forward to using the space to demonstrate exceptional, hi-definition audio to our clients and train our staff. The technology is second to none and this new centre gives distributors like us a solid platform to deliver a compelling story.”
“We are joining Midwich UK at an incredibly exciting time.” said Richard Williams, Managing Director of Operations at Orbitsound. “Orbitsound is at the forefront of innovation, bringing Airsound technology to the Consumer technology market. Midwich have proven themselves to be an industry leader in their market and we look forward to ushering in a new era in the UK through this relationship and our product offering. We feel we have a distributor that understands our target and discerning audience, and will help us reach markets and customers we haven’t been able to in the past. We are confident that this new partnership will help our journey towards becoming a significant audio technology brand.”
