Mitel Introduces IP Trader Solutions

Mitel has unveiled a portfolio of IP Trader Solutions for financial services organisations at the 2006 Technology Management Conference in New York.

Mitel IP Trader Solutions combine the key benefits of native IP-based telephony solutions and provides the potential of significant cost reductions and dramatic business process improvements while making teleworking, business continuity and disaster recovery as easy as plug and trade.

"The advent of new IP solutions are radically transforming the trading desktop with new, cost-efficient ways of trading and combining mobility and business continuity," said Mitel CTO Jim Davies. "Mitel's offering aims to provide hedge funds and boutique firms with attractively priced technology tools that will make them more efficient, productive and competitive."

The Mitel IP Trader Solutions portfolio is comprised of the Mitel 3300 IP Communications Platform (ICP), Mobility and Team Working Solutions, as well as

desktop endpoints including the recently-announced 5300 series IP Phones, the

Navigator Converged Desktop Trading Solution and the Mitel IP Trading Turret.

UK introduction is yet to be clarified by Comms Business Magazine.
