The unified Mitel and Inter-Tel channel partners will join together for the first time later this week in Orlando, Florida, just five months after the completion of Mitel’s $729 million merger with Inter-Tel.
Under the theme of “Freedom to Communicate”, the new force in communications will welcome some 750 attendees from its unified partner channel partner, user group and consultant community to celebrate the previous sales year and look forward to new products and channel programs for the coming year.
“Since the completion of the merger, we have moved rapidly to bring together the best elements of each company – Mitel’s vision in unified communications with Inter-Tel’s U.S. market coverage and managed services model – to create a true market leader,” said Mitel chief executive officer, Don Smith. “The scale created by the combination of Mitel and Inter-Tel makes us a clear choice for the hundreds of channel partners who have built their businesses around our solutions.”
An industry leader in recognizing the sales success of its direct and dealer distribution channel, a highlight of Mitel’s Business Partner Forum will be the announcement of the company’s Dealer of the Year award. The forum will also feature an exclusive Technology EXPO showcasing Mitel’s comprehensive range of real world SMB, Enterprise and tailored vertical market unified communications solutions, along with exhibits by more than 70 of Mitel’s third-party vendors.
Product briefings will introduce channel partners to Mitel’s unified communications product portfolio roadmap, the Inter-Tel merged product portfolio and third party CommSource vendors. Business breakout sessions will be held on the end-to-end solutions that create recurring revenue, build brand loyalty and increase profits by leveraging our entire Mitel support team, including data networking and carrier services; financial programs; and sales and technical support.
