More Knowledge Means More Business say MTV Telecom

Continuing their value add and developing new markets theme for 2008 MTV Telecom is rolling out their philosophy of ‘More Knowledge means More Business’. Managing Director Natalie Foers says that MTV Telecom will be focussing heavily on training their channel to be better equipped.

“As well as running courses targeted at winning more business we have also invested in more support staff for our channel partners by growing both our sales and technical teams. Most recently we have appointed Ian Smith as Account Manager for the North of England, based in Manchester. Reseller feedback from training courses we have run confirms that MTV is right to place significant emphasis on applications based learning as it dramatically increases their ability to win business.”

MTV Telecom is also getting behind the new Siemens HiPath OpenOffice ME that was launched last month by putting on ‘Get to know ME’ events for their partners.

Commercial Director Jim Robertson explains, “Siemens has launched a winning product in the HiPath OpenOffice ME. Not only did they design and engineer it for the needs of the small and medium-sized businesses we serve, but also for our needs to sell, service and support our customers efficiently and effectively. It’s a pre-installed and end-to-end solution for our customers as well as for us.”

Robertson says he will be showing resellers why they should look to the Siemens products in 2008. “Siemens HiPath OpenOffice ME is a hot product and we need to be shouting about it to resellers. I have been in the industry a long time and seen lots of new products but only two or three of those ever really had a ‘Wow Factor’ and this is one of them.”
