Telephony solutions provider CTI Group has announced the successful integration of their traffic analysis solution, Empulse, and call recording solution, SmartrecordIP with the hosted telephony solution provided by Natural Convergence.
In the UK Natural Convergence systems are the backbone on which Mitel load their 3300 ICP call control software to produce the Mitel 3600 hosted telephony solutions marketed by the likes of Gamma Telecom, ATC Group and Redstone.
The announcement from CTI Group means that service providers such as these can now offer their customers professional traffic analysis and call recording.
CTI Group chairman and CEO John Birbeck commented, “Empulse enables users to identify opportunities for improved usage of telecommunications and eliminate unnecessary costs. For companies that bill their time out to clients Empulse provides a sophisticated solution.
Call recording has been a challenge for many vendors of VoIP based systems but SmartrecordIP is an established and proven solution for these applications and enables hosted IP telephony solutions to be confidently sold to customers where proof of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements is needed as well as to call centres where agent training is required. Access and playback of recorded calls is via an easy-to-use, secure Web interface.”
Birbeck concluded by outlining reseller opportunities, “Traffic analysis and call recording has been a long-standing requirement for small to medium sized businesses as it helps them automate key business processes and ensure effective communication service utilisation. Our partnership with Natural Convergence is mutually advantageous to both the service provider, as it increases the value of the hosted offering, and the enterprise, as it ensures feature equivalency with traditional fixed-line services.”
