Sorensen said that since the acquisition in April 2008 MTV Telecom remains, a key step in their strategy of becoming a leading pan-European distributor of voice and data solutions for their reseller channel.
“With leading vendor partners, such as Avaya, Panasonic, ShoreTel, Siemens and Swyx, by our side, we are very excited about the opportunities ahead in the communications industry for our customers.
In keeping with our planned transition, MTV Telecom is being fully integrated into the ScanSource Communications Europe brand and family. To that end, Martin Hatcher, former Chairman, and Natalie Foers, former Managing Director, have left the company. We appreciate their support over the past year and wish them much success in their future endeavours.”
Sorensen continued, “The MTV Telecom team continues to offer outstanding service and support, with the sales team led by Chris Harris, head of sales, and the vendor relations and support side of the business led by Jim Robertson, director of operations. During this transition, I am pleased to be serving as your interim Managing Director.
