Under the agreement Mycom will integrate its best-in-class NIMS-PrOptima Service Assurance solution into Alcatel-Lucent’s UMTS Access technology. The embedded solution branded NIMS-PrOptima for WMS will be delivered as part of Alcatel-Lucent’s UMTS Access infrastructure releases.

Performance management is a key OSS Service Assurance component of any UMTS network and helps operators to ensure that their radio networks operate with optimal efficiency at all times. Alcatel-Lucent will offer NIMS-PrOptima along with its Wireless Management System to its UMTS Access customers globally.
