MyPhones strengthens senior management team

Nigel Dyson has been appointed head of development at MyPhones. Dyson will work alongside Andrew Robinson, managing director, and Paul Gibbs, sales director, to drive growth at the company.

The appointment of the software architect signals MyPhones’ commitment to building on Altos, its white label telephony platform, to meet the future needs of resellers and their customers. Dyson (pictured above) brings with him a 25-year track record in software development and leading teams.

This strategic hire comes following the company’s investment in an additional UK data centre earlier this year. This third data centre adds further capacity for increased growth.

Andrew Robinson, managing director, commented, “MyPhones has seen a huge increase in resellers signing up over the past 12 months and this role is key to continuing to deliver on the requirements of our partners and customers.

“Nigel Dyson has all the expertise and experience we need to continue to develop the platform and continue to support our partners as their customer’s needs develop.”

MyPhones has said that demand for remote working solutions and the upcoming ISDN switch off has driven growth in the Altos hosted telephony platform, associated MS Teams integration and reporting platform. The company is currently holding a Partner Day where it will showcase a new look portal with an improved user interface, alongside new features including sales tools and reporting.

Paul Gibbs, sales director, added, “We are really looking forward to our partner day. We have a lot of new partners and many that have been with us through our journey of development. Our partners like the flexibility we can provide as a UK-based company, with all our research, development and support taking place in the UK, free from the restrictions of larger platform providers such as Broadsoft and Asterisk.

"With Nigel Dyson at the helm of development, our partners can expect even more features not offered by these other platforms, which can give them the edge in winning business.”
