NEC’s latest application-based technology is unlocking more reseller sales doors and putting the power of UC into the hands of more workers according to distributor Nimans.
The InUC solution incorporates video conferencing, UC, collaboration, presence, IM and screensharing.
“As with all NEC InApps it’s based on built-in technology which saves on hardware and maintenance costs,” says John Mckindland, Head of Solutions at Nimans. “As it’s an on board application no extra server or PC is required and it can be accessed 24/7 since it is browser based for complete convenience.”
John highlighted how InUC utilises WebRTC technology to offer platform support to NEC’s acclaimed SV9100 and SL comms platforms as part of a seamless transition.
“There’s little doubt UC continues to play a much deeper role in business operations up and down the country. NEC’s InUC is another impressive step forward and thanks to its high performance and high value capabilities it puts collaboration into the hands of even more SMB organisations – enabling them to work smarter and bring dispersed workforces ever closer together,” he concluded. “It’s another welcome addition to our NEC portfolio to help our resellers win even more business.”
