NEC Completes Roadshow Series

NEC has recently completed a successful series of Roadshows around the UK and Ireland, where their SV8100 has been showcased and demonstrated to hundreds of resellers. The company says that they received excellent feedback and that the SV8100 is set to take the UK Unified Communications market by storm.

The NEC Roadshows started on 15th September, stopping at various football stadiums, including Wembley Stadium, The Reebok, and also the Majeski Stadium, with these venues proving to be a very popular choice with the resellers. The tour drew to a close in Ireland on 13th October.

Launched in September in the UK, the SV8100 is an all-in-one solution which places people at it’s centre. It combines devices and services including user (IP) mobility, presence, status collaboration, video and voice conferencing and messaging. NEC says that putting all of these together with the unique modular concept will suit businesses of all sizes and that in summary the SV8100 offers a strong return of investment to the end user with powerful call management tools including the ground breaking UC for Business.

“The most successful and clear demonstration of Unified Communications I’ve ever seen” says Andy Clark of Rocom.

Phil Adams, Systems Sales Director at Nimans said “An overwhelming success. The resellers response to the SV8100 was very enthusiastic.”

“The SV8100 takes modular construction to the next level, it’s what the SMB sector have been waiting for” says Vincent Leahy of Trust Distribution
