NEC Technical Services helps resellers to raise the bar

NEC has formed a new division to put expertise into practice and propel NEC resellers into more lucrative projects.

“What we are offering is a resource to deliver turnkey technology solutions,” claims Ian Shanahan, Technical Services Manager. Since setting up the Technical Services team and bringing highly qualified engineers Mike Black and Daniel Arkley on board, Shanahan has been hard at work planning and managing the team’s first projects. Essentially, the team can offer a unique skill set, covering the whole NEC portfolio, empowering resellers to take on substantial and integrated projects that they would otherwise have proven challenging to deliver.

Shanahan, “We are here to provide a unique technical resource when a customer requires a solution that far exceeds the internal resources which the reseller would usually provide alone” says Ian. “This could include integrating the NEC unified communications application to 3rd party applications and company databases through a managed technical project service. Through offering specialist bespoke integration, NEC Technical Services can open the door to new revenue opportunities for resellers, which is a huge benefit.”
