NeoWave Launch Mobile Recording

NeoWave Distributions are launching an industry first with what they say is a completely unique mobile recording solution.

The new offering should receive a huge reception particularly from the financial sector where the FSA, the industry’s government body, dictates that every call made and received should be recorded and stored for a number of years. With changes on tax implications for company mobile expenditure due to take place 2007/8 and the requirement to provide evidence, if required, that calls are of a business nature only, it is important to look to this solution. As Justin Blaine, MD of NeoWave states, ‘Currently there is no such solution, leaving many businesses tied to the office with inflexible trading conditions. Mobile recording will revolutionise the way in which people can do business’

As a first into the market, the mobile recording system is compatible with existing call recording solutions within the market. Using a dummy SIM card in the mobile phone, the unit dials into the call recording unit which will then forward the call onto the destination. This is achieved seamlessly with the application taking over the routing, and with the caller keeping the same mobile number the customer is not even aware this has occurred.

NeoWave are set to launch mobile recording in August and will be distributing the product worldwide through a variety of partners.
