Netmetix has announced the availability of the Wildix Unified Communications solution, providing businesses with an intuitive browser-based (WebRTC) platform to manage internal and external communication across multiple channels.
With a continuing trend of adopting remote and flexible working across businesses of all sizes, the workplace is no longer limited to the office environment. The Wildix solution offers freedom and flexibility in managing business communications as employees from multiple locations can collaborate as if they were all in the same office; business calls can be managed via the corporate virtual PBX directly from a mobile device or PC without the requirement for a fixed handset and the collaboration web interface provides real-time presence information of users, so colleagues can see who is available and where they are located.
The system is fully based on Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC), allowing the programme to be entirely browser based and accessible on any operating system without the need to install any client software. In many organisations, due to security restrictions, users are not provided the rights to install software on their machine so a web-based system is perfectly placed to solve this challenge.
Paul Blore, MD at Netmetix comments: “With increasing numbers of organisations seeking to adopt remote and flexible working, business need to keep apace with evolving technology to ensure the workforce remains productive and motivated. We’re proud to be able to offer such a forward thinking and innovative solution such as Wildix that can support a distributed workforce and offer far more flexibility when it comes to managing business communication.”
