VCOMM, the VoIP value added distributor, has signed an agreement with Network Equipment Technologies to distribute the company’s unified communications gateways to channel partners and service providers throughout the UK and Ireland. The agreement provides VCOMM with a more comprehensive product portfolio that will enable the Berkshire based company to deliver low cost, highly functional solutions to the entry-level gateway market as well as address the high-end, multiple E1 market such as call centres and service providers.
NET’s products support ‘any to any’ switching to allow integration into existing voice networks’ legacy TDM equipment, SIP equipment or both. The Quintum multipath switches give enterprise customers a flexible, scalable and cost efficient solution. The VX Series gateway is ideally suited to larger scale needs, providing a complete telecommunications structure. NET is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, offering products that are qualified to be interoperable with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2.
Scott Dobson, managing director at VCOMM, commented, “NET is an exciting brand with genuine global presence. Our agreement with them gives us a much broader spectrum of solutions compared to previous providers. We will be running training programmes for our reseller network in early April.”
“We chose VCOMM for the company’s extensive knowledge of the UK’s VoIP market and we hope to leverage that expertise in this important region.” said Mark Grant, NET’s regional business manager for Europe and Africa. “We feel that VCOMM has the technical skill and business savvy to provide customers with the best VoIP solutions on the market, and we are proud to partner with them for their ’go to market’ strategy.”
NET will be appearing alongside VCOMM (Stand 27) at the Convergence Summit North on 17th and 18th of March in Manchester.
