Networks First achieves 30% Increase in Turnover

Networks First, the provider of support services for network infrastructures, has announced it has achieved record financial results for year ending 31st March 2007. With a 30% increase in turnover to £7.02 million and 12 new employees, the results support Networks First steady growth over the last three years.

Peter Titmus, managing director, Networks First comments; “This year has been an exceptionally strong year for the company. With the culmination being the exciting move to Number One, our new corporate headquarters. To support our strong growth we needed to expand, but wanted to ensure we retained our quality service for our customers. So the new 12,000 square ft development fits our needs exactly.”

At the heart of the half a million pound development sits The NOC, Networks First’s Network Operations Centre, Service Desk and Technical Assistance Centre, providing 24x7 monitoring and an unrivalled level of network support. Investment in spares has increased by £600,000 taking the list value of spares to over £4.5m, to cover the increasing amount of equipment under cover through Networks First.

Titmus, continues: “We hope that by opening up the entire service delivery process from initial engagement through to final service delivery that partners and prospective partners can see and experience the depth of service provided by Networks First.”

In the last six months Networks First has also totally rebranded its support services and solutions. New products include ‘Owl’ a network assessment tool for IP telephony, ‘Hummingbird’ a service to monitor and maintain the quality of IP telephony and there will be other new consultancy solutions. It is hoped that this innovative approach will enable Networks First to increase turnover to £8.2m next year.

In conclusion, Titmus adds: “The past 12 months have been one of significant change and development for Networks First and we aim to continue our steady growth and development for the coming years.”
