New aBILLity integration with Sage

Union Street Technologies has integrated its aBILLity billing system with Sage 50cloud Accounts and Sage 200cloud. This optional integration module offers seamless data exchange and synchronisation between aBILLity and Sage’s accounting packages.

Vincent Disneur, managing director, Union Street Technologies, said, “Accounting and billing go hand in hand. Sage is the most widely used accounting package amongst our partners, which is why we’ve worked closely with them to develop an integration module from the ground up using Sage’s APIs.

“The module is available now and provides tight integration with Sage software at an extremely cost-effective price. It streamlines the process of managing data between the two systems, eliminating the time wasted by rekeying data between platforms, and the errors that can occur with manual data entry.”

The integration module allows new customers accounts to be pushed to Sage automatically and their details updated to or from Sage. Invoices generated in aBILLity can be bulk posted into Sage’s sales ledger in a single click as part of the structured bill run process, then broken down by nominal account. This removes the need for manual file import and export routines of invoice and payment transactions.

Account transaction history for each customer, including payments received, outstanding balances, and aged debt information, can be made visible within aBILLity. In addition, aBILLity can also create direct debit collection files for the bank and post payments back to the sales ledger.
