New Appointments Signal 2ergo’s Expansion

Following the unveiling of a new identity and ambitious plans for global expansion, 2ergo, the leading provider of mobile marketing and mobile business solutions, has appointed key staff members to ensure its business vision is achieved.

Adrian Smith and Colin McCaffery have been appointed to the instrumental roles of Head of Business Development and Head of Products and Marketing, respectively with Stuart Williams being promoted to Business Solutions Sales Manager, to ensure the firm’s continuing success.

Mr Smith brings over 15 years experience in telecommunications. Previously, the Vice President of Business Development at TMNG Global, a provider of convergent media and entertainment communications, he was instrumental in securing high profile contracts with clients such as Vodafone and Cable & Wireless.

In his new role Mr Smith will be responsible for commercially evolving and developing business opportunities for the Business, Marketing and Entertainment solution areas of the business.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Smith said: “2ergo’s new business direction and its ambitious plans for global expansion have ensured that my new position is both challenging and rewarding, not to mention exciting.”

Mr McCaffery, will take global responsibility for implementing the firm’s long-term product and marketing strategy. He has over 11 years mobile telecoms experience, having worked in several senior management roles within Vodafone Global, Sky Television Orange and CTI Group.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr McCaffery said: “2ergo is a company that is energetic, dynamic and is well positioned to take advantage of the predicted growth in mobile advertising and business CRM solutions.”

A further symbol of 2ergo’s fast growth within the mobile channel is the promotion of Mr Williams after being with 2ergo for three years.

2ergo’s new look signals a step change for the company, which has already undergone a significant period of expansion, branching out into north and south America, culminating with the business recording record financial results in May 2008.

With plans to further build upon its success, 2ergo is seeking to take advantage of its current position at the forefront of mobile technology, by unifying its business operations under a single brand, delivering a consistent customer experience to its global clients.
