New CEO at Inclarity Targets IP Telephony Growth

Inclarity has appointed Adrian Hughes as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the further expansion of its Hosted IP Telephony business in the UK

Inclarity achieved a 750 per cent increase in sales of its managed Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony services during 2006. The company say that with further expected growth this year, as British businesses phase out older telephone systems in favour of internet-based communications, Hughes will be responsible for a significant expansion programme to meet this demand.

Hughes has an extensive and proven track record in telecommunications, having previously held senior roles at Avaya, Lucent and AT&T. Former Inclarity CEO, Ahal Besorai, remains with the company on the board of directors, concentrating on business development for the Voice and Data division. Before joining Inclarity, Hughes held a number of senior management positions, including Service Director for global business communications network company and VoIP leader, Avaya in the UK, Ireland and southern Europe. He previously spent more than a decade at AT&T/Lucent, initially establishing the Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and services business in the UK and developing it through continual improvements in customer service across EMEA.

“There is a growing appetite amongst small and mid-sized businesses in particular who are actively seeking the commercial benefits of replacing traditional PBX (Private Branch Exchange) telephone systems with a hosted IP telephony solution utilising the benefits of VoIP. Firms with fast employee growth rates, multiple-sites and a travelling workforce with high call volumes are typically likely to see greater benefits by switching to Inclarity’s Hosted IP Telephony solution,” said Hughes.
