New Configurator Tool From Panasonic Makes Quotes A Cinch

Distributors
Tech Data’s new Panasonic Configurator tool is now available for use, making it easier for resellers to build accurate and detailed quotes for customers on the vendor’s category-defining Toughbook and Toughpad range of ruggedized laptops and tablets.

The new configurator provides an easy way for resellers to bring together the many options available for both the Toughbook and Toughpad ranges, which are ideal for use by the emergency and military services and other areas of the public and commercial sectors where only the most resilient of devices will stand the pressure.

Scott Newman, Category Manager for Panasonic at Tech Data, said the tool will make a big difference to partners. “Panasonic is still the ruggedized system of choice for blue light, military and other public sector organisations, and the new configurator tool will definitely help partners to advance their opportunities with greater speed and accuracy. Obviously, every single requirement is going to be very different and there are so many options available on the Toughbook and Toughpad ranges. The configurator will make it much easier to build up from the base units, specify systems to the exact requirements of the customer and present them with detailed, accurate quotations.”

Panasonic Toughbook and Toughpad systems are capable of withstanding the most testing conditions, so police, first responders, military support professionals, site or vehicle engineers can all get on with their work – fast and securely. The fully rugged Toughbook models are dust, water, vibration and drop proof from a height of up to 180cm. The Toughbook range is designed to operate in both extremely low and high temperatures. They offer daylight visible screens, excellent graphics and long battery life.
