New Connections: Sentronex partners with TalkTalk Business

Niche IT services provider Sentronex has become an official partner of TalkTalk Business, with an agreement to use the provider’s Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) and Ethernet services. The move follows TalkTalk Business’ £600m investment in its Next Generation Network (NGN) which now boasts 2,300 enabled exchanges and serves 93 per cent of the UK business population.

As a fully outsourced end-to-end IT services provider niche to London’s financial community, Sentronex recognised TalkTalk Business’ reputable expertise and the unrivalled reach of its EFM service.

EFM is a cost-effective way to benefit from high-capacity connection without committing to full fibre Ethernet and offers identical upload and download speeds of up to 10 or 20 Mbps. This service is also favourable from a compliance point of view; Sentronex’s financial customers require connectivity that supports VoIP and Hosted solutions, both of which are achieved by TalkTalk Business’ EFM connection.

Joe Sluys, CEO of Sentronex said: “We are delighted to be partnering with TalkTalk Business and are looking forward to developing our professional relationship with them, whilst at the same time, offering our clients an extended portfolio of services at competitive prices. Looking to the future, our Sentronex engineers aim to update the connectivity of a number of our clients before the end of this year alone, with the help of TalkTalk Business’ expert technology.”

Lance Spencer, Director of connectivity at TalkTalk Business said: “We are delighted to welcome Sentronex as a partner and look forward to building a long-term partnership. This latest signing is a reflection of our high level of investment in the NGN and our wholehearted commitment to developing our EFM and Ethernet services.”
