New Market Opportunities Say Nimans

More and more businesses can benefit from call recording following a new product launch from NEC which opens up significant market opportunities for dealers, according to premier distributor Nimans. The MyCalls Call Recorder system is, according to the distributor, extremely cost effective, easy to use and has been specifically developed to enhance NEC’s XN120 telephone platform.

Nimans’ NEC Business Manager, Kevin Weeks, is expecting big demand for the new innovation which is up to 40% cheaper than rival systems and brings call recording within reach of virtually all businesses.

“It will store and archive encrypted or non encrypted recordings onto a hard drive as part of the MyCalls call management software. Because it is encrypted it can be used from a legal stand point in court, so it is particularly beneficial to the legal profession and other industries.”

Weeks added: “It is extremely low cost and easy to operate. For small to medium sized businesses such as solicitors, it makes legal call recording a must rather than a consideration.”

His positive comments were echoed by NEC’s Marketing Manager, Elaine Annis who remarked: “Resellers and their customers can no longer afford to ignore call recording. In many industries it is now a regulatory requirement. In many others it offers a vital commercial benefit that will not only save a great deal of money but also a great deal of grief. Call recording is rapidly growing into a key component of today’s modern business applications.

“Importantly, the system is both ultra clear and ultra controllable. Clear, because calls are recorded in stereo so that each party to the conversation is heard on a separate speaker. Controllable, because specific extensions, ACD groups, DDIs, callers and call types can be excluded – or indeed highlighted. Calls are streamed from server to client PC and band width throttling can be enabled for users with low band width.”
