New Marketing Manager at Plantronics

Plantronics, UK has announced the appointment of Carly Read as UK & Ireland Marketing Manager. Carly will be responsible for further developing Plantronics reputation as a market leader in the communication industry, and drive its position in the UC sector.

Read joins Plantronics following two years at AV specialist, Maverick, where she developed an in-depth knowledge of the channel market. Prior to this, she was the Peripherals Marketing Manager at Computer 2000 (Techdata). In her new role for Plantronics, Carly will provide a consistent, educative marketing approach helping to drive channel awareness of the Plantronics brand and support Plantronics customers in developing their businesses.

“Having come from an IT and AV background, industries which are already looking forward to convergence, I am keen to develop the UC opportunity with our partners. I think there is a great opportunity to help educate the end user on the smarter and more flexible ways of working that UC and Plantronics can offer,” said Carly Read.
