The vendor has set up a permanent conference suite in its Hampshire offices.
Commenting on the new service, Phill McGowan, Managing Director of New Media Software said, “We have noticed that when resellers start to talk about our products, end users become interested and want to see a working demonstration. For a reseller to set-up a working system and take it to the customer’s site is a lot of work. Now, using the WebEx demonstration facility, we can deliver an onsite demonstration to anyone who has internet access using broadband and a web browser.
“Resellers can now request to hold a conference or demonstration on very short notice. During the conference New Media Software’s product specialists can present the Adaptive products or provide live demonstrations. New Media Software has a policy of owning one of each telephone system that its software works with. This means that we can show a customer exactly how the solution will work, using exactly the same hardware and software that the reseller is proposing.”
“In trials we have found that using a web based demonstration or presentation can increase the likelihood of our reseller winning the business and shorten the sales cycle. In one example, a customer really wanted to see how screen popping could be used in their business. New Media Software was able to join the meeting and demonstrate screen popping. In all, it took about ten minutes to prove to the customer that their custom database could be screen popped. The live demonstration really impressed the customer and proved that the reseller had the ability to deliver what they were promising, which helped the reseller to win deal.”
