New Name in Cable Distribution

One of the UK's traditional cabling solutions distributors is re-establishing itself in the market under a new brand.

Concordia Technologies is seeking to expand through developing a number of new supply partnerships coupled with an innovative range of products and services to grow its business in a way that complements its traditions of competence, quality and reliability.

Chairman Jeremy Kemsley-Pein states: “Following a strategic review of the business in 2011 we have elected to realign and expand the range of products and services we offer by embracing digital technology and the opportunities it creates to expand at a time of contraction for many companies.”

From its headquarters in Burnley, Lancashire, Concordia Technologies is ideally suited to service the UK and beyond by combining the core strengths of the Concordia Cables business with that of Commtech Communications.

Driven by a strengthened management team and supported by leading product brands, Concordia Technologies aims to build on its existing product and service platforms to become a leading solutions distributor for the digital world of IP (Internet Protocol).

Having recently announced its partnership with Power Ethernet to distribute the industry- acclaimed PE Socket which delivers a reliable fast ethernet-based solution for multi-media devices within the home and small business environments, Concordia Technologies is working hard to add to its stable of brands and is soon to announce further key relationships.

Today, the Concordia business markets and supports a competitive range of product solutions for the broadcasting, security and general wiring markets and has a first class service reputation, in product and logistics, with a number of global OEM brands.

Concordia Technologies is part of the Concord Holdings Group, a privately owned plc based in the UK. Concordia Technologies is a sister company to Environmental Energies and Heatsense Cables.

Environmental Energies is a renewable energy company based in Northamptonshire and is a leading designer, installer and green energy solutions provider for photovoltaic, wind power, anaerobic digesters and biomass boilers within the UK.

Heatsense Cables is a UK manufacturer of thermocouple and compensating cables for the UK and European markets.
