Alcatel-Lucent is to launch a new partner programme designed to open up its product portfolio to the channel. The new programme will make it easier for resellers to partner with the company and take on additional products from Alcatel-Lucent’s extensive enterprise portfolio.
In addition, the programme will offer partners discounts based on the number of product specialisations they are able to achieve – in order to help push sales growth in areas such as data networking – as well as creating a single standardised and shortened contract for all partners.
The UK launch will precede a European-wide programme due to launch later in 2009.
