Magnetic North have appointed Andrew Jones as their new UK Sales Director. Jones, who joins from Redstone Managed Solutions has pedigree in the telecoms, VOIP and hosted applications market as the success ingredient to deliver rapidly growing revenues in new and emerging markets.
Magnetic North, who have more than 10 years experience in the contact centre, voice recording and hosted applications market, has a large slice of the UK market share of hosted call centre, and during 2010 have rolled out a range of innovative Cloud PBX and Advanced Network services.
Originally a player in enterprise solutions for major call centre operators, Magnetic North were the among the first in the industry to move into OnDemand solutions and with Cloud solutions growing in popularity minute by minute, the companies plans for growth and expansion are aggressive to say the least.
Nick Gash, Managing Director, says “Our SAAS offering has exploded in 2010. We have 80% of our new customers coming on board with our OnDemand Hosted offerings, leveraging the Cloud revolution to drive down costs and drive up customer service and satisfaction. Moreover, the convergence of voice and data through technologies like SIP, Presence management and Video really means that for the first time, Magnetic North’s OnDemand offerings are actually more feature rich than our legacy on premise competitors. This year alone, we’ve added Mobile Screening and realtime Mobile Handset status checks for outbound predictive dialling campaigns, as well as network PCI compliance solutions that offer companies a fast track to PCI compliance and even taking their centres out of scope for PCI.
With all this growth, we knew we needed to agressively grow our UK business, and so bringing on board a respected industry figure in the form of Andy Jones to drive and accelerate our growth plan was a perfect fit. “
Jones’ appointment coincides with the release of Magnetic North’s latest version of predictive dialler, Maximise 3 which includes a raft of innovative new functionality driven both from the companies UK R&D group as well as more than 400 customer product improvement ideas and suggestions culled from nearly 130,000 users around the globe, including multi-lingual robotic agent technology, fully blended inbound outbound predictive campaigns, outbound SMS and Email campaign integration and more.
Jones commented, ‘Magnetic North presented me with an unparalleled and genuinely exciting opportunity. The Magnetic North Product portfolio is superb. We are passionate about Customer Relationship and Support. My team and I will be passionate about delivering that to this exploding market. The combination of the two will turn magnetic North into a powerhouse. Watch this space!’
