Nimans has launched its own cloud-based Video as a Service solution as the distributor reinforces its stature as a fully converged supply partner.
The latest development is part of the company’s ‘Everything Connected’ strategy – from networks and data infrastructure to systems, end points and support services.
The new VaaS solution is very easy to deploy, making instant high definition collaboration available anywhere, regardless of connectivity. That’s the view of Nimans’ Head of Conferencing, Ian Brindle, who says a 12 month contract starts from just £20 per month (trade), providing resellers with high margin recurring revenue opportunities. Users simply connect to a meeting over IP, ISDN or SIP – for either room based, mobile or desktop conferencing.
“Cost effective HD video conferencing and collaboration is now within the reach of every reseller,” he explained. “This is a significant step forward for us as a company and most importantly the thousands of resellers we serve. We offer a flexible range of solutions, packages and prices, based on our own platform, utilising tablets, smartphones and laptops. It’s the simple route into high quality video and secure virtual meeting rooms. There’s some very attractive margins to be captured based on monthly recurring revenue. It’s definitely not pie in the sky!”
Ian concluded: “VaaS is a cornerstone of our Everything Connected strategy – equipping resellers with everything they need to move further forward in a fully converged world – with the support of one of the most trusted names in the industry behind them.”
