New York’s No Fairy Tale For Chess Customers

Business telecoms provider, Chess Telecom is promising a fairy tale in New York this Christmas with its brand new customer competition.

One lucky customer will win an all expenses paid trip for two to the Big Apple, with $1000 spending money thrown in to make sure they really make the most of it.

As a reward for their loyalty all Chess customers have been allocated free tickets in the grand prize draw and simply have to register their tickets by phone or e mail. All registered tickets will be entered into the draw, which will be made at Chess Telecom’s Christmas Company Conference in December.

Customers can also earn more chances to win by signing up for extra products or simply by extending their contract with Chess.

All new customers signed up between now and Chess’ Christmas Conference will also be automatically entered into the Winter Holiday Draw.

This is the second customer competition Chess Telecom has run this year. In the spring, it launched a huge summer holiday incentive in which the lucky winner could choose between holidays in the Caribbean or Disneyland Florida, a Safari or city breaks in Amsterdam, Paris and Rome. The competition went down a storm with business customers who fancied the chance of letting their telecoms provider pay for a holiday of a lifetime.

The winner of Chess’ summer holiday incentive was Gray Fabrications of Fife, Scotland. John Carswell of Gray Fabrications chose a city break in Rome for his prize and will be taking his wife in March 2009.

Roy said at the time “I am absolutely staggered to have won the Chess Telecom Summer Holiday competition! I never win anything so I’m amazed our ticket was picked out of nearly 20,000 in the draw!

The tickets were free and all I had to do was register so I could barely even remember entering the competition! When I got the messages from Chess, at first I thought it was to update my details or something – I couldn’t believe it when I found out I’d won a holiday!

I run a business that makes steel cans and cones, largely for use in the offshore oil and gas industries. More recently we have become very involved in the fabrication of steel components for the renewable energy business. This has kept me extremely busy, so a holiday is exactly what I need. I never in a million years thought that my telecoms provider would be paying for it!

I am extremely pleased with the service I receive from Chess and incentives like the holiday competitions are above and beyond what I would expect to get, especially with the savings I make.

I have chosen the Rome holiday as a prize, partly because I have never been there and always wanted to see it, but mainly because that’s the one my wife chose!

I am really looking forward to going… and also looking forward to what surprises Chess has in store in the future!”

“Our holiday incentives are a great way of rewarding Chess customers for their continued loyalty,” said Chief Executive, David Pollock. “We are always focused on exceeding their expectations in terms of service, quality and value and incentives like this are over and above what businesses expect from their service providers. I am really looking forward to drawing the winning customer at our Conference in December and hearing their reaction when they find out they’ll be doing their Christmas shopping in New York, paid for by Chess.”
