Internet Service Provider NewNet is planning to take on the ‘big players’ with one of the fastest broadband services in the country, with a 24Meg broadband service in the Portsmouth South area this August.
Customers will connect directly to NewNet’s own core network; enabling faster upload and download speeds–up to 24Meg download and up to 1Meg upload. 24Meg service costs from £11.49 per month; all with the NewNet support service provided by their own UK based helpdesk.
Stepping up a gear, NewNet will be launching a range of 24Meg and other services designed specifically for business customers who require greater speeds and more reliable services.
Peter Coates-Buglear, NewNet’s Founder and CEO says, “We are rolling out in Portsmouth first as it is on our door step. Other areas will follow. We plan to cover as much of the country as possible – 50 exchanges over the next 2 years. We are starting in areas where we have most customers. The Portsmouth 24Meg service is 18 months ahead of BT and will enable customers to connect directly to our 10Gigabit High Speed network.”
