When Next Connex started its channel partner scheme, it was unsure how quickly it would reach capacity. Before the channel programme was fully mapped out, two sales graduates were recruited and trained with a view to managing accounts as the channel grew, alongside their usual new business tasks.
Three months after being recruited, the sales graduates were both converted to full time Channel Account Managers, to cope with the demand for quotes, ensuring that Next Connex delivered on its promises to provide quick quote turnarounds, while providing personal support to registered channel partners.
“Under the close mentorship of our Sales Director Sam Field, and with regular internal technical and commercial training from the leaders of the business, our first channel account managers have far exceeded all expectations. We intend to follow the same pattern with this next wave of graduates, continuing to tweak and improve their training in order to continue the high levels of delivery for our partners as we experience this accelerating growth”, said Managing Director Bob Griffiths.
After a careful recruitment process, Next Connex have hired two more graduates to start on Monday the 26th of October, who will dive directly into channel account manager roles, create more partnerships, effectively manage the influx of quotes, and help those businesses grow their sales: facilitating more orders.
