NG Bailey Appoints Division Managing Director

NG Bailey has appointed Jane Skelton as managing director responsible for its managed services businesses, which include Bailey Teswaine, Bailey Systems, Bailey Maintenance, s2s and ICS. The move strengthens the company's strategy to develop its offering beyond traditional M&E capabilities.

Skelton joins NG Bailey from Reliance Facilities Management, where she was managing director. Prior to that Jane held a European leadership role within Johnson Controls.

With over 16 years senior experience of leading strategic development and organisational change focusing on customer needs, emerging markets and innovation, Skelton has worked with many blue-chip clients in a range of market sectors including projects and real estate, finance, manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare and aerospace.

In her new position at NG Bailey, Skelton will be responsible for developing and giving direction to the managed services businesses, focusing on bringing together key elements of the businesses in an integrated manner in order to meet growing customer demand.

This will involve establishing NG Bailey's information communication and technological expertise as a stand-alone offering, as well as working in conjunction with Bailey Building Services to provide an integrated package covering both the building and business system infrastructures.

Speaking about her new role, Skelton said: "I'm delighted to be joining NG Bailey and looking forward to leading the strategic development of the company's integrated systems and services offering, enabling NG Bailey to continue to move beyond the 'construction' phase of a building and provide an end-to-end capability throughout its life cycle."

Mark Andrews, chief executive of NG Bailey, adds: "At NG Bailey, we believe the future of building services is as much about the provision of integrated service infrastructures, as it is about the traditional M&E offerings.

"Jane possesses a wealth of experience in strategic development and she will be a major asset in facilitating the direction and diversification of the company."
