NGC Networks Acquire the Service Business of Leeds based Allied Communications.

Allied has operated as a telecoms reseller in the North of England since 1992 and is a Silver accredited Avaya Business Partner. Allied is the first acquisition that NGC has completed since the company was itself acquired in late 2006 in an MBI led by Nigel Adams.

Nigel Adams founded his first telecoms business, Advanced Digital Telecom Ltd (ADT) in 1993 and ADT was subsequently bought in 2000 by JWE Telecom PLC for £3.1m.

Along with fellow director, Dean Harrop, the pair successfully acquired NGC in late 2006.

In addition to their own support staff, NGC have taken on several key Allied employees further strengthening the support resource of the combined business.

NGC Networks has continued to grow since being acquired by Adams and Harrop and the company has recently moved to larger premises at Thorpe Park near Leeds where it has invested over £40,000 in a state of the art customer demonstration and training facility.

Nigel Adams said, "As the business continues to grow, this deal has fitted in perfectly. Like ourselves, Allied are a fully accredited Avaya Business Partner and their customers will continue to receive a high level of service but from a company with a much larger technical support base."

Nigel added, "We will continue to look for synergistic deals and would be interested in businesses that have a reasonable support contract base."
