Distributor Nimans has appointed telecoms sales manager Chris Birchall to spearhead its Mitel sales activities. Chris’ 14-year industry career spans roles for companies such as Crane and Pennine Telecom before joining Nimans from Incom Business Systems where he was a Sales Manager.
Birchall is excited by the prospects of working at Nimans and explained: “I find telecoms very rewarding; the nice thing is the market never stands still as products change regularly along with customer demands. I find the industry very interesting and I am very much looking forward to helping Nimans enhance its impressive reputation for support and service.”
He continued: “I have worked with Nimans over the years and admired them as a supplier. It’s not just about pricing and products, it’s about service and delivery of which Nimans is second to none.”
Birchall feels the Mitel brand provides plenty of opportunities for growth and added: “There’s a lot happening, particularly in the hotel market, where Mitel has a great pedigree. There’s been huge brand investment by Mitel, complementing an existing portfolio which has been very successful in sectors such as education, financial services, hospitality, healthcare, government and retail. Primarily my role is to take things forward at Nimans and capitalise on the great market potential that currently exists.
“The Mitel product has the applications, services and support mechanisms that will really make a difference for the dealer, particularly with the advent of SIP technology. Nimans is ideally placed to deliver the solutions that our business partners demand.”
