Nimans basks in systems sales surge

Nimans is basking in a summer systems sales surge as demand reaches the highest level for two years - bucking general industry trends.

Systems sales – spanning Panasonic, Siemens Enterprise Communications, NEC, Aastra and Samsung - continue to flourish, with orders and revenue up on 2011 levels, as May and June proved months to remember.

Overall the systems team exceeded sales and profit targets in June, landing hundreds of additional orders. The team has now hit target three out of the last four months as forward momentum continues.

NEC and Panasonic sales were particularly strong in June as NEC like-for-like sales were up more than 15% per day, following on from impressive demand in May that reached a two-year high. Panasonic sales in June were the best for 12 months, with profits reaching a two-year high as the team hit target for four out of the last five months.

Paul Burn, Head of Systems Sales, says Nimans can offer the most comprehensive systems portfolio on the market, backed by the highest service levels.

“It’s no secret that systems sales have been hit by the economic recession, but here at Nimans we’ve been working exceptionally hard to support resellers and help them clinch more sales.

“I am delighted that this effort is paying off. We don’t just combine high stock levels with guaranteed next day deliveries, but we support our customers from start to finish. That could be lead generation, marketing support, financial services, technical support, installation and maintenance and pre and post sales expertise. It’s a long term commitment that’s being recognised by dealers and proving very successful. We’re here to rise to the challenge however testing the economic conditions may be.”
