Telecoms distributor Nimans continues to strengthen its nationwide Field Sales team with the arrival of Richard Sawyer to support resellers across the North West of England and help them grow their businesses.
Sawyer spent 10 years at Sterry Communications before working at St Helens-based Lake Technologies for the last two years. He has been employed in business-to business telecom sales throughout his extensive career and says this has given him a valuable understanding of what resellers require.
“The most exciting part about telecoms is that nothing ever stands still, it is a constantly evolving and dynamic industry. When I first joined it was at the beginning of ISDN which was the dawning of a brave new world but that technology is gradually being phased out with the emergence of new ways of converged voice and data communications such as SIP.”
He added: “I have a 12-year working knowledge of the industry from a reseller’s point of view which puts me in a great position to understand what they expect from a distribution partner in terms of business development. My ethos has always been to do what you say you will when you say you are going to do it, and that’s what Nimans stands for.
