BT ended a number of channel relationships in March and downgraded other arrangements they had established.
“It was certainly not our wish that this agreement be ended and we are a little disappointed that the final consultation process we were promised did not in fact occur,” commented Nimans’ Head of Indirect Sales, Nigel Raine. “We would have been more than happy to discuss the reasoning and impact of the multi-vendor strategy introduced to the Nimans’ Connect unit and which we employ across the business. In an increasingly competitive marketplace it is imperative that we provide customers with a choice of suppliers, each with its own particular strengths.
Raine stressed that Nimans would continue to work closely with BT. “We have long enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy, a highly successful relationship with BT as a key distributor of its hardware.”
