Manchester-based comms specialist Nimans has dialled-up a double charity bonanza by donating a treasure trove of telecoms equipment to a local school – and handing over a cheque for £400.
As one of the company’s nominated charities, Springwood School at Swinton received a selection of novelty telephones, DECT handsets, headsets and shower radios – putting pupils in a celebratory mood.
The gifts and money will help boost the school’s fundraising activities where they are planning to buy ICT equipment and specialist communication aids for children.
In addition, Nimans is planning a special day out for youngsters to visit its impressive Agecroft headquarters so that they can gain a taste of the world of work and discover what goes on behind the scenes at the flourishing distribution operation.
