Nimans Expands Data Infrastructure Division

Nimans is expanding its data infrastructure division with the appointment of a new sales supremo, combined with the launch of an enhanced own brand product range – as the ambitious distributor breaks into the AV component arena for the first time and lays the foundations for an aggressive growth strategy.

Peter Owen has extended almost 20 years’ data installation expertise by joining the Manchester-based team as Data Infrastructure Business Manager - part of an expanded new-look operation, which boasts five decades of combined experience.

Peter explained: “Nimans has grown into a key player in the network infrastructure arena, providing a host of high calibre products and services, from patch leads and tools, to cabinets and routers – all backed by industry-leading training and in-house knowledge. Stock is available to pick-up direct from our on-site Trade Counter as well as by next-day delivery anywhere in the country.”

In a further boost, the company has unveiled a new logo for its cost effective Titan own brand range which includes cat 5e and cat 6 cabling, cabinets, data modules and power distribution units. In addition Nimans is introducing a series of AV products for the first time such as HDMI cabling modules and chrome faceplates.

Peter explained: “We will continue to work closely with big name brands as well as develop our own brand portfolio as Nimans reinforces it position as a one-stop installation resource. From working in the trade for the last two decades I know from experience that quality is always remembered after the price is forgotten. It’s an ethos shared by Nimans.”

He concluded: “I think it’s fair to say that data installation is one of Nimans’ best kept secrets but that’s about to change as we’ve got some aggressive plans to capture more market share over the next few years, based on combining new product developments with the highest levels of customer service.”
